By downloading, installing, or using Blue Ridge Weather ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. You will be asked to agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy the first time you open the App. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Blue Ridge Weather provides:
- Hyperlocal weather forecasts for Jefferson County, WV
- Live radar, future rain, temperature, and wind maps
- Real-time traffic conditions on local roads
- Community features for sharing weather reports, road reports, and local information
- Weather alerts and notifications
3. User Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account
- One account per person is permitted
4. Community Guidelines
Blue Ridge Weather is a family-friendly community. When using community features, you agree to:

- Share accurate weather observations and reports
- Be respectful to other community members
- Report inappropriate content using the in-app tools
- Keep posts relevant to Jefferson County and surrounding areas
DO NOT:
- Post profanity, hate speech, or offensive content
- Share false or misleading weather information
- Harass, bully, or threaten other users
- Post spam, advertisements, or promotional content
- Share personal information of others without consent
- Post content that is illegal or violates others' rights
5. Weather Data Disclaimer
Weather data is provided by the National Weather Service, NOAA (radar and forecast models, via the Iowa Environmental Mesonet), and other third-party sources. While we strive for accuracy:
- Weather forecasts are predictions and may not always be accurate
- Do not rely solely on this app for life-safety decisions
- Always follow official emergency guidance during severe weather
- Traffic data is provided for informational purposes only
6. User-Generated Content
- You retain ownership of content you post
- By posting, you grant us a license to display your content in the app
- You are responsible for content you post
- We may remove content that violates these terms
7. Intellectual Property
The Blue Ridge Weather app, including its design, features, and branding, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the app without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
Blue Ridge Weather is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
- Inaccurate weather forecasts or traffic data
- Decisions made based on app information
- Service interruptions or technical issues
- Content posted by other users
9. Changes to Service
We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time in the App (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or by contacting support.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia. Any disputes will be resolved in Jefferson County, WV courts.
